National Puzzle Day, January 29, 2018

Today is one of our favorite days of the year, National Puzzle Day!

We celebrated in a variety of ways, but our favorite one was making our very own puzzle in the Threes and Pre-K.  In Miss Nancy's class, the children used dots to decorate their very own puzzle to take home to their families.  In the Pre-K, they used special Sharpie markers to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.  In the afternoon, the Pre-K also made special Puzzle Hats to wear in celebration!

Additionally, we all spent the day doing a lot of different types of puzzles.  Floor puzzles, table puzzles, 24 piece puzzles, 100 piece puzzles, and lenticular puzzles.

We love doing puzzles because they help develop our eye and hand coordination and help our fine-motor, sorting, classifying, and problem solving skills mature,  They give us such a sense of accomplishment when we finish them, especially when we work as a team to do it!

We love puzzles at Bright Start!
