Bright Start: Early Learning Center

Preschool Program

  •  Our Preschool Program is for children ages two and a half years old to five years old and is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, from September to June.  Our program includes a Physical Education "special" with Coach Rick and a Music "special" with Mrs. Viola, which are provided entirely through fundraisers held throughout the school year.
  •  Our six-week Summer Camp is for children aged two-and-a-half through six years of age.  Register for all six weeks or individual weeks of your choice.  The school is closed for the month of August.  Every session will include a variety of indoor and outdoor play activities, arts and crafts, music, stories, water play, snacks, and loads of fun!

Scheduling Options

  • Choice of three, four, or five days a week
  • Three hour half-day program (8:30-11:30, or 9:00-12:00 including lunchtime)
  • Six and a half hour full-day program (8:30-3:00 or 9:00-3:30)
  • Ten hour extended day (7:30-5:30)

Ms. Viola teaches our children a variety of songs each week when she visits.  Each week, our children are lead in age appropriate sing alongs. 

 

Coach Rick teaches Physical Education.  Every week, he focuses on a different sport, teaching our children the beginning fundamentals, like throwing, catching, running, et cetera.

 

Ms. Lavorgna, of the Roseland Performing Arts Academy (located upstairs in our building), is now teaching Creative Movement at Bright Start Early Learning Center once a week.
